The clinical signs of zinc deficiency are loss of appetite, excessive salivation, hair depletion, or stiff joints. A zinc deficiency can also result in poor hoof health, lameness or foot-rot. At critical times it can lead to poor reproductive performance, low milk production and generally poor growth rates.
There is some evidence that zinc is involved in maintaining the integrity of the immune system (Engle et al. l 1997).
Dose daily (either orally or through a Dosatron Inline Dispenser).
Cattle/Cows 3 - 5ml per cow per day
Sheep 0.5ml per sheep per day
Deer 1 - 1.5ml per deer per day
Facial eczema prevention 3.3ml/10kg liveweight/day
